Former US President Donald Trump harshly attacked incumbent Joe Biden against the backdrop of the White House's continued tensions with the Israeli government and Biden's criticism of the war in Gaza.
"Biden has lost control of everything related to Israel," Trump claimed in a statement to the media that he delivered ahead of an activist conference in Atlanta. According to him, "Biden totally abandoned it."
"He is a person with low intelligence, he has no idea where he is or who he supports. He does not know if he supports the Palestinians, but it is quite clear that he does not support Israel," the former president added. "Every Jewish person who votes for Biden or the Democrats should have their heads examined."
This is not the first time that Trump has attacked Biden for his attitude towards Israel and his policy in the war against Hamas. Last month, the Republican candidate claimed during an interview with the Fox News network that the American president "threw away Israel" and also stated that "the Democrats are very bad for Israel" against the background of Democrat Majority Leader Chuck Schumer saying Israel should elect new leaders.
