Report: Houthis attack British vessel in the Red Sea, crew abandons ship
Another escalation: Reports on the UK Maritime Operations Agency network of an attack on a British ship in the Red Sea. The vessel was heavily damaged and the crew abandoned ship.

The United Kingdom's Maritime Trade Operations Agency (UKMTO) was informed of a serious incident that occurred this morning (Monday) in the Red Sea when authorities reported an attack on a British ship south of the port city of Mokha in Yemen. According to the report, during the attack the ship's crew abandoned ship, and there were no casualties among the crew members. Al Jazeera further reported that the vessel was strongly damaged, which led to its stopping and an outcry from those aboard.
Yesterday, the Central Command of the United States Army (CENTCOM), which is responsible for fighting in the Middle East, announced that for the first time since the start of Operation "Prosperity Guardian," Navy planes attacked an unmanned submarine belonging to the Houthi rebels.
The American Navy said that it had acted offensively against threats identified against the Navy's ships yesterday, and have now revealed that American forces in the Red Sea detected three launches of cruise missiles, the operation of an unmanned vessel, and the operation of an unmanned submarine in the Red Sea area yesterday (Saturday).
