After international reports of Houthi projectile launches against the American Navy in the Red Sea, local Yemeni sources report additional air strikes against the Hodeida area airport, an area controlled by the Houthis.

In the past few hours, cruise missiles and aircraft were reported launched from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen towards ships in the Red Sea, including American naval ships patrolling the area. According to the reports, at least two launches aimed at a vessel were intercepted over the Red Sea.

A few hours later, a number of Arab and international sources reported additional strikes, probably by the United States, against the airport in the city of Hodeida in Yemen. This is the third wave of strikes reported so far since the US launched Operation Prosperity Guardian in the Red Sea.
