The spokesman for the Houthi rebels in Yemen held a press conference this evening (Sunday) and announced that the organization will respond to the elimination of its terrorists by the US earlier today during an attempt to take over a ship in the Red Sea, Britain and other countries are preparing for an attack in Yemen.
The senior leader of the Houthi rebels in Yemen held a special press conference after the elimination of about ten of the organization's terrorists, when they tried to take over a cargo ship in the Red Sea. US military helicopters and naval forces repelled the terrorists and carried out a series of attacks against the boats they used to threaten the ship and try to take it over. According to several publications at least ten of the organization's terrorists were eliminated during the American response.
According to international reports, 4 boats of the terrorist organization approached a commercial ship in the Red Sea. US Navy helicopters were launched, circled above and told them to leave. The Houthis opened fire at the American helicopters which returned fire and killed them, 3 of the boats sank. The spokesperson of the organization announced during the press conference that: "The meaning of the American aggression is a declaration of war. Surprises in the coming hours."
Beyond that, several reports in Europe point to a British decision to move the fighting against the Houthis to the territory of Yemen and to carry out intense attacks against the organization in its territory, and that other European and Western countries are considering participating in the wave of attacks, including the United States.
According to diplomatic sources, Britain sent a direct message to senior officials of the Houthi organization in which they informed the organization that: "If you do not stop the attacks on commercial targets - you will face a military threat from the West."
