Explosion Near Israeli Embassy in India, No Casualties

An explosion was heard near the Israeli embassy in India, and according to estimates it may have been an explosive device. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that there were no casualties in the incident, and the New Delhi police began an investigation.

The New Delhi Police were called today (Tuesday) to the Israeli Embassy in India, following a report of an explosion that occurred near the compound. According to estimates, it is possible that this is an explosive device that was activated outside the embassy building.

The Foreign Ministry confirmed that an explosion was heard near the building in New Delhi, and noted that "there were no casualties as a result of the explosion, and all the envoys and embassy employees are safe. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the local authorities in full cooperation with the Israeli security forces."
