In addition, Cohen and Millay discussed the deepening of relations between Israel and Argentina and the expansion of trade and the economy. The Argentine president concluded the meeting with the families of the abductees by calling for the immediate and unconditional release of all the abductees from Gaza.

"Argentina is a strategic country in South America and under President Millay, the alliance between the countries will strengthen," Cohen said at the end of the meeting. "I thanked him for his resolute standing by Israel in its fight against terrorism and his intention to declare Hamas a terrorist organization as well as his call for the unconditional release of the abductees. I invited the president to visit Israel and inaugurate the Argentine embassy in Jerusalem, as the incoming president himself mentioned in his speeches in recent months."

Millay added that "I want to emphasize our absolute solidarity with the people of Israel following the terrorist acts committed by the terrorist organization Hamas. We condemn them in a sharp and clear manner. I support Israel's full right to defend itself against those terrorist attacks. In addition, we are examining the possibilities in the declaration of Hamas as a terrorist organization in Argentina".
