Reports from Gaza: 1,250 Dead Since the Resumption of Fighting

Since the ceasefire ended, the IDF has been attacking with great intensity in the Gaza Strip. The echoes of the explosions are clearly heard throughout the southern part of the country and the images being distributed from Gaza show great destruction and a widespread humanitarian crisis.

Now, the media in Gaza are reporting the death of 1,248 Gazans and hundreds more Gazans who are probably under the rubble in Gaza since the resumption of the attack. In total, since the beginning of the fighting in Gaza, they report 16,248 dead.

Of these, 7,112 are children and 4,885 are women. The number of doctors who died is 286, 32 civil defense personnel and 81 journalists who were killed.

The number of missing has reached 7,600, most of them are under the rubble or their fate is still unknown.
