The naval terror continues: the UKMTO reported an incident today (Sunday) involving a drone flying over naval vessels in the Bab el-Mandeb in the Red Sea, striking one of them. The statement said that an explosion was heard in southeast Yemen, where the drone was present. Naval vessels in the area were warned to take care as this is investigated.

This is the third time a ship has been reported being struck close to Yemen, after an oil tanker “tied to an Israeli company” was attacked by a suspicious vessel in the Gulf of Aden. The UKMTO stated that the container, which belongs to a British company tied to Israel, was subject to Houthi threats. Similar attacks have happened since the war started.
