The Speaker of the Knesset, Amir Ohana, toured Kfar Aza and the Tzrifin base today (Wednesday), together with the President of the Romanian Parliament, Alfred-Robert Simonis and a delegation of members of the Romanian House of Representatives.

The President of the Romanian Parliament, Alfred-Robert Simonis, said during his visit: "It was important for me to come especially to this area of Israel that was hit so hard. The thought that over a month ago children were playing here, and now they are gone is unimaginable. I would like to remind you that the Romanian Parliament was the first parliament in the democratic world who declared her support for Israel and condemned the heinous actions of Hamas."

When they arrived at the shattered and burned kibbutz clinic as a result of RPG fire, the President of the Romanian Parliament gave a written and signed statement on behalf of the House of Representatives supporting Israel, condemning Hamas and calling for the immediate release of the abductees.
