The Prime Minister's Office announces on behalf of the Mossad that thanks to cooperation with the security bodies in Brazil, the Mossad and the local security organizations succeeded in thwarting a terrorist attack planned by Hezbollah.

The security bodies in Brazil together with the Mossad and its partners in the Israeli security community, alongside other international security and enforcement bodies, foiled an attack in Brazil promoted by the terrorist organization Hezbollah, directed and financed by the Iranian regime. This is a wide network spread out in other countries in the world.

The Mossad thanked the national and local security forces of Brazil for their cooperation and for the arrest of a terrorist cell that operated on behalf of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, to carry out an attack against Israeli and Jewish targets in the country.

The Mossad announced that the organization is working and will continue to work and thwart these attempts in a variety of ways and wherever necessary.
