The Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced today (Wednesday) that it was recalling its Israeli Ambassador Rasan al-Majali for consultation. Jordan claims the decision was made in light of the ground operation in Gaza. In an official statement issued by the Jordanians, the country said that Israel is causing an unprecedented humanitarian disaster and threatens the security of the entire region.
Yesterday (Tuesday), Bolivia decided to sever its diplomatic ties with Israel due to the war in Gaza.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired ministerial aide Paul Bristow for calling for a full ceasefire. In a latter Bristow sent the Prime Minister, he wrote: “Thousands have been killed and more than one million now displaced. It is difficult to understand how this makes Israel more secure or indeed makes anything better. My constituents and I would be grateful for your comments on the actions our Government is taking to ensure that people in Gaza do not face collective punishment for the crimes of Hamas.”
