Members of the Israel-Germany Parliamentary Friendship Group, led by MK Mickey Levy, held a video conference today (Thursday) with 15 members of the German Bundestag and updated them on the ongoing war with Hamas.
MK Levy mentioned that on the bodies of the terrorists who were eliminated in southern Israeli communities, documents were found containing information that directed them to specific homes and families. This is evidence that Hamas received information from residents of Gaza who had work permits in Israel and spent time there.
"Israel provides electricity, fuel, cement, food, and medicine to the residents of Gaza every day. Additionally, 25,000 workers from Gaza enter Israeli territory daily, bringing in money and supporting Gaza's economy. The humanitarian state of Israel has met the needs of Gaza's residents, and that's what we received in return," Levy stated. "We will not rest until we destroy Hamas and wipe it off the face of the earth." He added that there is no doubt that Iran stands behind the training of terrorists and the funding of attacks.
Today it is us, tomorrow it could be another country
MK Levy described the horrors that occurred on Saturday to those present: "Toddlers ran to the kindergarten to find shelter, and they were slaughtered there. Some of them were found headless." MK Semion Moshiashvili stated: "Israel is a peace-seeking country. Today, it's us, but tomorrow it could be any other country in the world."
The Chair of the German-Israeli Friendship Group, Bundestag member Gabriela Heinrich, pledged: "We will be the ambassadors of the State of Israel and recount the horrors and its undeniable right to defend itself." A Muslim member of the Bundestag, Laima Kadour, emphasized: "Hamas is also a threat to the Muslim world."
