White House praises Israel after Netanyahu visit
The White House praised Israel following the Trump-Netanyahu meeting, in which the Prime Minister committed to eliminating the trade deficit and removing trade barriers.

The White House issued a surprising statement today (Tuesday) praising Israel following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington. The White House spokesperson declared at a press conference that "Israel's proactive approach should serve as a model for the rest of the world."
"Just yesterday, President Trump held a bilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu here at the White House," the statement said. "The Prime Minister committed to immediately eliminating the U.S. trade deficit with Israel and removing Israeli trade barriers."
The meeting between the two took place against a backdrop of growing tension between the U.S. and its global trading partners, especially with China, which saw a dramatic increase in American tariffs on its products to 104 percent last night.
American media sources estimate that Netanyahu's move, designed to strengthen strategic relations between Israel and the U.S. during this sensitive period and emphasize Israel's commitment to economic partnership with its most important ally, has been successful.
Netanyahu's commitment to removing trade barriers could lead to opening additional markets for American products in Israel and increasing economic cooperation between the countries. This aligns with the goal Trump is targeting with his implemented tariff policies.
President Trump's decision to publicly praise Israel amid the global trade war highlights the importance the U.S. places on its allies' willingness to adapt to the new American trade policy. The fact that Israel was the first to announce its intention to accept the demands of the U.S. and President Trump apparently earned the President's significant appreciation.
