A Long-Delayed Visit
Trump lifts Biden boycott of Itamar Ben Gvir
After years of being labeled as an "extremist" by the US administration under the Democratic Party, the Trump administration has for the first time invited Minister Ben Gvir for a series of high-level meetings in Washington DC.

Political correspondent Anna Barsky revealed that after many years of boycott, National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has been invited for political meetings in Washington with his American counterparts. The details were confirmed to Srugim by Minister Ben Gvir's office.
After years of being ignored by the American administration under former President Joe Biden, President Trump is breaking the boycott. Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has been invited for senior meetings in the US capital with his counterparts in the American administration.
According to the report, Minister Ben Gvir was invited by the American administration for a series of meetings with counterparts in the US government. The visit may also address the supply of weapons to the Israeli police, which was blocked during the Biden administration after the war began.
The Israeli police ordered approximately ten thousand weapons from American manufacturers, but their import was blocked by the previous administration. Additionally, teams from Israel's Ministry of National Security are expected to hold senior working meetings with officials in the White House.
