A Miracle In DC
Yossi Dagan congratulates Mike Huckabee, Trump's new Israel ambassador
Yossi Dagan, Samaria Regional Council leader, congratulated the pro-Israel former governor of Arkansas, stating that he hoped to work with him to ensure "historic justice."

Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan congratulated Republican Mike Huckabee today (Wednesday), following his appointment as America's ambassador to Israel, calling it a chance to ensure "historic justice."
Huckabee, a staunchly pro-Israel politician who says that he refuses to use the term "West Bank" and insists on using the traditional "Judea and Samaria," was confirmed by the Senate on a 53-46 vote, with Democratic Senator John Fetterman voting in favor.
"I congratulate my friend Mike Huckabee, a true leader, a great lover of Israel, and a close partner of the settlement in Judea and Samaria, on his appointment as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel. This is an exciting day not only for Israel but also for the settlement in Judea and Samaria and for the historic alliance between the two peoples."
Dagan added: "This man, who visited Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus with me on a historic visit, is someone who stood excitedly at the heart of the settlement—and knew how to see the justice in it. In our meeting in New York, he told me, 'I look forward to returning to Judea and Samaria'—and now, as he assumes his role, we will be able to work together, arm in arm, to strengthen the security of the State of Israel, advance the settlement, and repair the world after the catastrophe of October 7."
As mentioned, last January, the head of the Samaria Regional Council met with Mike Huckabee for a special visit in New York, where Dagan told him: "We are waiting for you in Judea and Samaria, in the State of Israel. You are a true friend of the State of Israel, especially to the Jewish pioneers building Judea and Samaria. We deeply appreciate you, and I, personally, look forward to working with you in Israel."
