Report: The date has been chosen - U.S. and Israel set timeline for Iran strike
A joint military operation against Iran is no longer a question of 'if' - a date has officially been set, and preparations are underway.

The British newspaper Daily Mail reports that Israel and the United States are preparing to launch a large-scale attack on Iran together. The report comes after assessments that the United States will not take an active part in the attack, but will give Israel the freedom to act and provide it with a defensive envelope.
According to the report, senior security officials in the US government provided details about the nature of the attack and the date when it is expected to be carried out, apparently at the end of May.
The report also indicates that this is a comprehensive and broad attack that is expected to include very powerful weapons of war, including seven B-2 bombers deployed at the Diego Garcia base.
These bombers are equipped with GBU-57 "bunker-buster" bombs, which are capable of penetrating protected nuclear facilities.
A senior official who commented on the expected attack said, "From Israel's point of view, with Trump in the White House, this is the optimal moment to deal with Iran. There won't be a better opportunity."
