WATCH: Dr. Michael Ben Ari predicted October 7th, word for word. No one listened.

Dr Michael Ben-Ari is an Israeli politician, and former member of the Knesset. He is also the first outspoken disciple of Rabbi Meir Kahane to have been elected to the Knesset, and he has a Ph.D in Land of Israel and Archaeology studies.

On May 14, 2018: Dr Ben Ari predicted October 7th with scary accuracy. Here's what he said:

"Gaza is a roadside bomb that will explode on us. What are they asking for now? They’re asking to enter the settlements - to Kfar Aza, Nahal Oz, Be’eri, Alumim, Ein Hashlosha, Re’im. Don’t you hear? Don’t you listen to what Hamas says about the Return March? They want your house, ma’am. They want to destroy your home.

They want to sit in your house, in your living room. They want to rape all our women. This is what they say, they don’t even hide it. They want our fields and our homes. They want to slaughter us. They don’t even hide it—they say it. The Israeli government doesn’t want and doesn’t intend to win in Gaza. The Israeli government intends to abandon the residents of the border communities: the residents of Kfar Aza, the residents of Nahal Oz, the residents of Be’eri, the residents of Alumim, the residents of Re’im, the residents of Kissufim. It intends to abandon them, and later on, the residents of Netivot too, because the rockets and all that, you know, it creeps along slowly because they get used to it!

Because the alternative price, the real price, is heavy, but there will be no choice—you know that in the end, we’ll have to pay the price. The entire existence of Gaza has one meaning, one purpose: the destruction and elimination of the State of Israel. Is that clear to you? Is it clear that this is a forward base that wants to conquer Tel Aviv? Is that clear to you? Is there anyone who disagrees with what I’m saying now? Write to me. Is Gaza not a forward base?

That’s how all our enemies see it. That’s how Hamas sees it, that’s how Hezbollah sees it, that’s how Iran sees it. That’s why they fund them, that’s why they support them- they see something in them. Even the moderates, Saudi Arabia, see something that bothers the State of Israel. Here, give them money because they hate us. So there’s no choice. This roadside bomb—we’ll have to dismantle it. If there’s a price for it, unfortunately, there will be a price, even a painful price. But the price of not conquering Gaza will be much more painful, and in the end, we’ll have to conquer Gaza at a much, much more painful price. Our fear of dealing with the Gaza problem will lead to us both eating the stinking fish and taking the blows, and in the end, we’ll conquer Gaza. So there’s no choice, I say: Listen carefully to what I’m saying, because in the end, it will happen, and the diplomatic price, the military price, and the price in human lives will be heavy, very heavy.

At the time, it probably sounded like the ramblings of a madman. But he was right. On October 7th, we started to pay the price for not listening, we lost 1200 civilians, murdered in unimaginable ways, include the rapes he predicted. All of the Kibbutzim he mentioned were targeted. Hamas still holds 59 Israeli hostages and Israel is seriously considering conquering 25% of the Gaza Strip to force Hamas to return our hostages, just like he said we would.

And we are paying still, with the blood of our precious Israeli soldiers. Listening to Dr Ben Ari's words from five and a half years ago and watching them unfold - it makes me think. What if we had listened? What if we had taken the bull by the horns?
