In a concerning incident, missile fragments fired from Yemen landed near a fire station in Beit Shemesh, Israel, causing light damage but no casualties. The missile fire, which originated from Yemen, triggered an immediate response from local authorities.


According to reports from the Israel Fire and Rescue Authority, the debris fell near a fire station in Beit Shemesh, causing minimal damage to the station's shed.
The missile was intercepted by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and the resulting fragments fell as a result of the interception. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident, and the situation was quickly contained. A statement from the Fire and Rescue Authority’s Jerusalem District confirmed that the debris, which came from the missile that crossed the Israeli border, caused light damage to the structure of the fire station, but no harm to personnel.
Simultaneously, the Israeli police issued a public statement, urging the public to stay away from any areas where missile fragments have landed and to follow the instructions of the police on-site. In their statement, the police emphasized the importance of staying clear of the fallen debris, as these remnants could contain explosives. The police also reported that they had received multiple calls about missile debris falling in Beit Shemesh and that their bomb disposal experts and police officers were on the scene to secure the area and conduct further searches for additional missile fragments.
The Israeli authorities also advised the public to avoid approaching the impact zones and to immediately report any findings of missile debris to the police by calling emergency services.
