Katz: "Hamas must understand the rules of the game have changed"

During a visit Tuesday to Squadron 133 at Tel Nof Air Base, Katz personally congratulated aircrews who participated in the overnight attack that marked the beginning of Israel's "Strength and Sword" operation. The Defense Minister's message to Hamas was unequivocal: "Hamas must understand that the rules of the game have changed. If they do not immediately release all female and male hostages, the gates of hell will open, and they will face the full might of the IDF in the air, sea, and land, until their complete elimination."

Katz emphasized Israel's unwavering commitment to both the return of the hostages and the security of southern Israeli communities, adding, "We will not stop fighting until all hostages are returned home and all threats to the residents of the south are removed."
