Report: Hamas preparing for repeat of October 7 soon

IDF intelligence has spotted "irregular" developments among Hamas, which may point to a plan to launch another mass invasion of Israel, along the lines of October 7, according to i24 News.

Hamas terrorists have been regularly probing IDF defenses since the first phase of the hostage deal ended, with multiple reports of small groups of terrorists trying to plant IEDs, engage in observation, or conduct other military-style operations near IDF forces still present in the Gaza Strip.

Now, military censorship has published that the urgent meeting of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with defense leaders in the Kiryah in Tel Aviv was due to this intelligence discovery.

Kann reporter Itay Blumenthal reports that Hamas is rebuilding its strength in the Gaza Strip, according to defense sources. This includes the recruitment of hundreds of terrorists, the rebuilding of military positions throughout the Gaza Strip, and the rebuilding of the Hamas military chain of command, which was badly hurt during the war.

According to Blumenthal's sources, Hamas presently has 25,000 troops and Palestinian Islamic Jihad - another 5,000.

One source told Blumenthal that without increasing pressure on Hamas or establishing a clear deadline, the achievements of the war will erode and the condition of the hostages will only deteriorate.
