Netanyahu Headed To Comfortable Win
New Poll: Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid declining, Yair Golan in the lead for opposition leader
Once again running contrary to other polls, Channel 14's Direct Polls survey predicts a comfortable win for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition.

A new Channel 14 poll conducted by Direct Polls and released today (Monday) shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition winning the same 64 seats it currently holds, with the Zionist opposition foundering at 46 seats.
If the elections were held today, Likud would get 34 seats, Democrats 18 seats, Yisrael Beytenu 14 seats, Shas 11 seats, UTJ 8 seats, State Camp 8 seats, Yesh Atid 6 seats, Otzmah Yehudit 6 seats, Religious Zionism 5 seats, Ra'am 5 seats, and Hadash-Ta'al 5 seats.
This would lead to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition winning 64 seats - about the number it has now. The opposing coalition would be left with just 46 seats, with the Arab parties, now expected to join neither bloc, with the remaining 10 seats.
Some 47% of those polled believe Prime Minister Netanyahu to be the best choice for Prime Minister, and just 20% believe Opposition Leader Yair Lapid is the best man for the job. 33% support neither candidate, and other claimants for the top spot such as Naftali Bennet and Avigdor Liberman were not polled.
