What - Or Who - Are They Targeting?
Report: IDF launching multiple air strikes in Lebanon and Syria
The IDF is presently striking multiple targets in Lebanon and Syria, with the aim of destroying weaponry which could be used by terrorists.

The IDF is striking multiple targets in Lebanon and Syria tonight (Monday), with the aim of destroying Hezbollah armaments and denying old Syrian weapons to hostile forces.
Regarding the strikes in Lebanon, the IDF released this statement:
A short time ago, the IDF attacked military sites of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, where terrorists and weapons of the organization were identified.
The terrorist activity at these sites poses a threat to the State of Israel and constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel and will prevent any attempt at rehabilitation and establishment of the Hezbollah terrorist organization.
According to Israel Hayom, the air strikes in Syria are directed at three bases of Bashar Assad's former army in Daraa. The aim, like previous such air strikes, is to destroy any weapons or military equipment which could be used against Israel by any armed force in Syria - including the Syrian government.
The IDF released this statement on the matter:
The IDF is currently attacking, in the southern Syria area, military targets, including headquarters and military sites, containing weapons and military equipment of the old Syrian regime, which they are trying to put into use these days.
The presence of these means in southern Syria poses a threat to the State of Israel. The IDF will not allow the existence of a military threat in southern Syria and will act against it.
The official Syrian media outlet reports two killed and nineteen wounded so far from the Israeli strikes.
Meanwhile, the Syrian government is embroiled in a shooting war with Hezbollah supporters across the Syria-Lebanon border, which began with the killing of three armed members of Syrian President al-Julani's HTS forces. Syria has since reinforced the border in an ever-escalating situation.
Israel Hayom reports that six Lebanese and two Syrians have been killed in the subsequent firefights, according to Arab media.
