Amid the high alert in various sectors, the IDF Rabbinate is preparing to provide comprehensive support to fighters ahead of the Purim holiday.

As part of the preparations, Rabbinate staff in various units have been equipped with 2,150 kosher parchment scrolls for proper Megillah readings at all IDF outposts. Rabbis of the different units have ensured that any soldier wishing to hear the Megillah will be able to do so according to Jewish law.

For the first time, Megillah readings will be held at IDF outposts in Syria, in addition to readings taking place in various sectors in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and at different units throughout the country.

The goal: to provide for every soldier who wishes to fulfill the holiday commandments.

Therefore, more than 125,000 printed Megillah scrolls were prepared in advance and distributed by rabbis in the units to provide support to every soldier, even in the most remote locations.

Additionally, thousands of copies of halachic instructions "Halacha K'Sidra" (Halacha in Order) were distributed to IDF soldiers, as well as thousands of booklets to strengthen fighting spirit and "Bat Chayil" (Daughter of Valor) bulletins for religious female soldiers.
