Report: Shooting attack near Ariel in Samaria, one wounded

The IDF reported a possible shooting attack near the industrial zone of Ariel in Samaria a short time ago today (Wednesday).

According to Israel Hayom, there has been one wounded reported on a farm near the city of Ariel.

According to ZAKA, the man was injured on the nearby farm from a shooting attack and reached the Ariel industrial zone by car on his own despite being wounded from the shooting. The terrorist appears to have escaped.

He is reportedly moderately wounded.

Israel Hayom updates that the wounded individual is a man in his twenties. He has been evacuated to Beilinson hospital for medical treatment.

Army Radio reporter Doron Kadosh provides a report on the initial findings from the shooting: A terrorist opened fire, leading to the wounded civilian making it to the Ariel industrial zone and joining up with security forces on site. He is now receiving medical chances.

The IDF is now pursuing the terrorist, establishing roadblocks and conducting aerial surveillance by helicopter.

Hatzalah Yosh reports that the wounded Israeli is about 18, conscious, with wounds in his hand. According to the report, he was first blinded with a laser and then fired at.
