The Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed reported Monday morning that the future of Hamas' weapons in Gaza has occupied a large part of the discussions between Hamas and Trump's envoy Adam Boehler.

According to the report, during the talks, Hamas representatives spoke of a "full package agreement" and rejected partial solutions presented by Boehler at the first meeting. However, the report stressed that senior Hamas officials told Boehler that they would not give up all of the organization's weapons in the event of the establishment of a Palestinian state. Hamas's proposal was revealed by Boehler in an interview with CNN.

The Qatari newspaper reported that Hamas had proposed a package agreement that would receive support from the other terrorist organizations in Gaza. That agreement includes a long cease-fire of more than 10 years in Gaza and Judea and Samaria, and a promise that "the situation in Jerusalem will remain as it is."

According to the report, the terror organization expressed its willingness to talk about the weapons systems, especially the rockets at various ranges, in exchange for a long-term hudna (ceasefire) and after an agreement that included a full withdrawal of the IDF from the Gaza Strip, an end to the war and the release of all the hostages as part of a deal. As noted, Hamas stressed that it would not give up all weapons in any case.

At the same time, Hamas spokesman Abd al-Latif al-Qanua announced in the last hour: "We have treated the efforts of the mediators and Trump's envoy with flexibility, and we are waiting for the results of the expected negotiations, and Israel must be obliged to agree to go to the second stage. The negotiations that took place with the mediators, Egypt and Qatar, and Trump's envoy are based on ending the war, withdrawal and reconstruction."

"We have fully committed to the first phase of the agreement, and our priority now is to provide relief to our people and ensure a permanent ceasefire," he concluded.

The movement agreed to Egypt's proposal to establish a committee to support the community and begin its work in the Gaza Strip to strengthen the strength of our people and establish it on its land.
