The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported this morning (Wednesday) an airstrike attributed to the IDF in the Rif district, Damascus. According to the report, at dawn, Israeli fighter jets carried out airstrikes in Syrian territory aimed at a weapons depot.

The warehouse belongs to the "155th Missile Brigade" near the village of Hala, in the Al-Qatifa area of the Damascus countryside. No fatalities were reported as a result of the attack. "The Israeli attack is part of a series of repeated attacks on military sites inside Syria," it said.

It was also stated that according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights' calculation, since the beginning of 2025, Israel has carried out 18 airstrikes in Syrian territory, and two more ground attacks, which led to the destruction of about 22 targets, including weapons and ammunition depots, headquarters, and vehicles.

Regarding last year's attacks, it said: "Israeli aircraft have launched about 500 airstrikes on military sites in Syria since the fall of the Assad regime on December 8 until the end of 2024, during which they completely destroyed Syria's arsenal of weapons."
