A Bold Voice Against Hamas and Terrorism, Standing Strong for Israel
Mosab Hassan Yousef's incredible interview on i24 news "I would wipe Gaza off the map"
Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef, has become an outspoken critic of terrorism and a powerful ally for Israel.

His journey, which took him from being embedded within Hamas to becoming a spy for Israel's Shin Bet, exemplifies his transformation from an insider in one of the world’s most dangerous terrorist organizations to a staunch advocate for peace and security in the Middle East.
In a recent interview with Tzvi Yechezkeli, the Arab affairs commentator for i24NEWS, Yousef made some profound and deeply challenging statements about the situation in Gaza and the broader Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His words shed light on the complexity of the conflict and his belief that the solution lies in confronting Hamas's hold over Gaza. Yousef explained, “If not for the hostages, if I had the power, today not October 8th, I would wipe Gaza off the map. I would do it so quickly the world would not have time to notice, I would do it that fast.”
His assertion that the majority of Gazan civilians, if not everybody, are complicit in Hamas’s crimes speaks to the deeply rooted issues within the region, where the terrorist group has held sway over the lives of ordinary Gazans. Yousef’s willingness to challenge the narratives surrounding Gaza is a testament to his commitment to Israel's security and his drive to confront the terror that has plagued both the Israeli and Palestinian people.
Yousef responded to a question from Yechezkeli about former U.S. President Donald Trump’s suggestion of relocating Palestinians to Jordan or Egypt, a plan which has been met with resistance from those countries. Yousef's response was clear: “If he really wants to do this then send the US army, remove the border, he doesn’t have to go to all these leaders and ask. If it was up to me, I would send them beyond the Suez Canal into the desert.” He added further, questioning why the U.S. needed permission from Egypt to evacuate the most vulnerable civilians out of harm’s way, stating, “Why did the US president even need the permission from Egypt to open that damn border and evacuate the most vulnerable civilians out of harm’s way? This would take the most powerful card from Hamas’s hands.”
Yousef’s stance is one of uncompromising strength and clear thinking. His call to address Hamas’s dominance in Gaza and the broader Middle East highlights the dangers of inaction, calling on the international community, particularly Israel, to go "all the way to the end" to ensure lasting peace. “My gut feeling is that the war is far from over. This is a long war. Even if there’s a truce, there’s preparations for the next war and the next war is going to be much uglier,” he said. “So I suggest that we go all the way to the end, in order to guarantee 100 years of peace in the entire region and Israel is capable of doing this. And if we do it, the United States and the rest of the world will respect Israel for the rest of eternity.”
Yousef’s bold statements reflect a clear-eyed view of the challenges facing Israel and the need to confront terrorism in all its forms. His rejection of the notion that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict can be solved as long as Arabs are referred to as "Palestinians" offers a fresh and stark perspective. “As long as you call them Palestinians, the problem is not going to be solved,” he said.
In standing firmly by Israel and condemning the terror of Hamas, Yousef has proven himself to be a powerful voice of reason and a strong ally of the Jewish state. His personal journey, from Hamas insider to Israel ally, offers a unique perspective on the complex dynamics of the Middle East. As Israel continues to face threats from terror groups, figures like Mosab Hassan Yousef are a testament to the need for clear and decisive leadership to ensure peace and security for Israel and the region.
