Tight Election Coming
New poll: Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition closing in on Benny Gantz's camp
A new poll conducted for Channel 11 shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition reaching a new peak, just four seats shy of the opposition.

A poll conducted for Kann News by Kantar and released yesterday (Monday) shows Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition hitting a peak of 55 seats, compared to Benny Gantz's camp getting 59 seats.
This increase comes in part thanks to Likud gaining another seat compared to Kantar's previous poll (26 compared to 25) and Gantz's State Camp (16 compared to 18) and Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid (11 compared to 12) both losing seats.
If the elections were held today based on the poll, the results would be as follows: Likud 26, State Camp 16, Yisrael Beiteinu 15, Democrats 12, Yesh Atid 11, Shas 10, United Torah Judaism 8, Otzmah Yehudit 7, Hadash-Ta'al 6, Ra'am 5, Religious Zionism 4.
Netanyahu's coalition would get 55 seats, and Benny Gantz's coalition would get 59. Hadash-Ta'al would get 6.
The size of Benny Gantz's coalition depends on whether or not the Arab party Ra'am will be included in the group, as it was during the "change government" of Bennet-Lapid.
Recent statements by its leader Mansour Abass and other members of the Ra'am party regarding October 7 and the war have led his former coalition partners to reject Ra'am as a partner - either entirely or at least as the party providing the 61st vote for a majority in the Knesset.
