70-Year-Old Arab Israeli murdered in todays attack—A Life Lost to Hate
Haifa stabbing tragedy: This is the 70-year-old victim of today's shocking terror attack
Karim Dahamsha, a 70-year-old Arab Israeli Muslim from Kfar Kana, tragically lost his life earlier today in a brutal stabbing attack at the Lev Hamifratz Mall in Haifa.

His death is a chilling reminder that hatred and terrorism do not discriminate based on ethnicity, religion, or nationality. Dahamsha, like the other victims of this attack, paid the ultimate price in an act of senseless violence, one that affects both Jewish and Arab communities in Israel.
On the morning of the attack, Dahamsha, who was a resident of Kfar Kana, was among the victims caught in the terror attack carried out by a 20-year-old Druze Israeli Arab, Yitro Shahin, from Shfar'am. According to reports from Magen David Adom (MDA), Dahamsha was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck. Despite the paramedics’ efforts to save him, his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The attack, which occurred at the popular Lev Hamifratz Mall, also left four others injured. Among the wounded were a man and woman in their 30s, as well as a 15-year-old boy, all of whom sustained severe injuries. Additionally, a woman in her 70s was in moderate condition. While the terrorist was neutralized by security guards on site, the violence left the victims’ families devastated.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his condolences to the family of Dahamsha, emphasizing the need to continue fighting against terrorism. “My wife Sara and I send our deepest condolences to the family of the man who was murdered in the shocking terrorist attack in Haifa,” Netanyahu said. “We will continue to fight everywhere against those who seek to murder us and we will defeat them.”
Dahamsha’s tragic death highlights the unrelenting reality of terrorism, which shows no mercy, regardless of the victim's identity. His loss is felt deeply not only by his loved ones but by the entire nation. The attack serves as a stark reminder that in the face of violence and hatred, the bond between people, whether Jewish or Arab, remains fragile. The senseless act that claimed his life and left others wounded should be a call to all to stand against extremism in all its forms, for terrorism harms us all, irrespective of background.
