HAIFA: 1 dead in horrific stabbing and shooting attack at bus terminal, 5 injured
It's possible that one of the injured was shot after arriving with a weapon to neutralize the terrorist and was mistakenly suspected of being a terrorist himself.

Multiple casualties have been reported following a series of stabbing and shooting incidents, with five individuals confirmed wounded in Haifa's Lev Hamifratz Mall.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident occurred earlier today, and the assailant has been neutralized and eliminated by security forces. The area has been sealed off as authorities work to ensure no further threats remain.
According to Hallel Biton Rosen, five individuals were being treated by Magen David Adom (MDA) teams, including two in serious condition, one in mild condition, and one in critical condition.

Meanwhile, in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s ongoing testimony was adjusted due to the attack. Attorney Amit Haddad requested an early end to the session at 14:45, citing Netanyahu’s need to attend a Knesset debate involving 40 signatures calling for a state inquiry committee. Judge Friedman-Feldman approved the request, shortening today’s session and extending tomorrow’s by an hour. Journalist Dafna Liel confirmed Netanyahu’s intent to prioritize the Knesset discussion.
Police have confirmed that one terrorist was involved and neutralized. This conflicts with ZAKA, who reported that there were two assailants, who were both neutralized at the scene.
MDA Spokesperson, Zaki Heller released this statement: "At 09:53am, a report was received at MDA’s 101 emergency call center in the Carmel region regarding several casualties in a stabbing attack on Histadrut Boulevard at the bus terminal in Haifa. According to an initial report, MDA paramedics and medics are providing medical treatment to 5 casualties, including: 1 in critical condition, 3 in serious condition, and 1 in moderate condition.
The terrorist has been eliminated."
UPDATE:
MDA Spokesperson:
MDA medics and paramedics have pronounced the death of a man approximately 70 years old and are providing medical treatment and evacuating 4 wounded individuals to Rambam Hospital, including: 3 in serious condition—a man and a woman around 30 years old and a boy around 15 years old—and 1 in moderate condition—a woman around 70 years old in moderate condition.
An eyewitness who was on the bus told Israel Hayom: "The terrorist came from the north to the Shfar'am station on the main road, got off the bus, and boarded bus 167 heading to the Haifa Central Station. The moment he arrived at the central station, he got off the bus, started shouting 'Allahu Akbar,' and began stabbing people until security forces arrived and neutralized the terrorist."
Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant as the investigation continues.
