Report: Ben and Jerry trying to buy back Ben and Jerry's
The effort comes due to a clash with owner Unilever over selling the famous ice cream in Judea and Samaria.

The original owners of Ben and Jerry's are reportedly trying to buy back the famous ice cream company from owner Unilever, due to disagreements over selling the ice cream in Judea and Samaria, according to a report today (Wednesday) by Calcalist.
Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield founded Ben and Jerry's in 1978 in Burlington, Vermont, turning a local ice cream parlor into a multinational enterprise. They then sold the business to Unilever for $326 million, and it has remained a Unilever property ever since.
However, the original owners and the current owner have recently had a falling out over sales policies. Ben and Jerry are both staunch progressives, often making statements in favor of a variety of leftwing causes, including the fact that America conquered native land to expand the country.
After October 7, they announced that Ben and Jerry's would cease to sell ice cream in Judea and Samaria, an open boycott of any Israeli presence over the Green Line. Following a general outcry in the United States among Israelis and Israel supporters, Unilever decided to resolve the matter by allowing a local franchisee, Avi Singer, to continue to sell the ice cream - in Hebrew and Arabic.
Unilever has already said that the Ben and Jerry's label is not for sale, even to the original owners, and buying back the label would require an investor with pockets deep enough to pay the price tag, likely to amount to billions of dollars. Sources speaking to Bloomberg and as reported by Calcalist noted that this effort is still in its initial stages.
In infamous recorded footage, Ben and Jerry were asked basic questions about the conflict and why they would want to boycott Judea and Samaria. They were unable to seriously answer basic questions, leading to a great deal of mockery online.
