Minister Miri Regev vows to restore Jewish communities in Gaza
At the Besheva and Arutz Sheva Jerusalem Conference, Regev called for a reversal of the forced evacuation of Jews from Gaza, pledging to restore Jewish presence in the region.

Minister of Transportation Miri Regev, who previously served as the IDF Spokeswoman during the 2005 Gaza Disengagement when thousands of Jews were expelled from Gush Katif, stated on Tuesday at the Besheva and Arutz Sheva Jerusalem Conference that Israel must reassert control over land in the Gaza Strip and allow Jewish residents to return to Gush Katif.
Regev revealed her plans to propose, during the next cabinet meeting, the inclusion of a new official objective in the ongoing war: the restoration of Israeli settlements in Gaza, which would be part of a long-term strategy for the area’s future post-war.
"Trump spoke about emigration, and we are continuing to push this plan forward under American leadership. In the end, Trump will support actions to ensure the security of the State of Israel. We all recognize that Hamas is a terrorist organization that aims to murder – they will not remain in Gaza, and the region will look very different,” Regev emphasized.
She also made it clear that if Hamas does not surrender and relinquish its weapons, Israel will continue the conflict until its goals are achieved. “The war is not the goal, but a means to secure peace and establish a new reality in Gaza,” she asserted.
