Director’s explosive confession: Israeli hostages kept in Gaza Medical Facility

Hamas 'Doctor' reveals all on terrorist activities in Gaza Hospital

Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Gaza, has made a shocking admission during his interrogation after his arrest in December 2024.

While he denies being a member of Hamas, evidence and testimonies point to his alleged high-ranking role within the group. Despite this, he openly acknowledged that Israeli hostages were indeed held at the hospital, a fact that further complicates his position.

Abu Safiya's arrest came after a significant raid on the Kamal Adwan Hospital, where Israeli forces dismantled a Hamas command center and detained hundreds of Hamas operatives. The hospital was reportedly used as a base for Hamas activities, which included housing hostages taken during the ongoing conflict. Abu Safiya was questioned about the presence of these hostages and responded in English, confirming that medical treatment was provided to the captives. He claimed that the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had removed all of the hospital's doctors at some point.

The arrest of Abu Safiya has raised significant concerns, as Arabic media outlets have labeled him a Colonel within the Hamas-run Military Medical Services in Gaza. His admission that hostages were kept at his hospital is especially alarming, as it underscores the use of civilian infrastructure by Hamas for military and terror-related activities.

In his defense, Abu Safiya's legal team has alleged that he was subjected to torture during his detention, hoping to gain sympathy and support for his release. Francesca Albanese, a prominent figure in international human rights, voiced her support on social media, calling for his release, although the seriousness of the allegations against him cannot be ignored.

As the investigation continues, the connection between Hamas and Gaza's civilian institutions, such as hospitals, raises troubling questions about the use of medical facilities in war zones and the violation of international law during times of conflict.
