False hope
Misinformation alert: No deal for two fallen hostages
Despite reports from Asharq Al-Awsat, a knowledgeable source clarified that Hamas is not set to release two fallen hostages in the stalled exchange process.

A source familiar with the situation on Monday dismissed Arab media reports claiming that Hamas might release two hostages in the coming hours as part of the delayed prisoner exchange, stating that the reports are false.
Earlier today, the Arab newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Hamas may release two hostages in exchange for the release of the 602 terrorists whose release Israel has been delaying since Saturday.
Last Saturday, Israel refused to release the terrorists agreed upon as part of the deal, due to the horrific ceremonies held by Hamas when it released the live and dead hostages, and in response to Hamas's despicable maneuver with the body of Shiri Bibas.
"In light of Hamas's repeated violations, including the ceremonies that degrade the honor of our hostages and the cynical use of the hostages for propaganda purposes, it has been decided to delay the release of the terrorists planned for yesterday until the release of the next hostages is ensured, and without the humiliation ceremonies," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
