Hamas is indeed suffering the consequences

Senior Hamas Official makes shocking statement "I would not have supported October 7th if I had known"

In a shocking admission, Hamas senior official Musa Abu Marzouk stated that he would not have supported the October 7th attack if he had known the devastating consequences it would bring to Gaza.

Speaking in an interview with The New York Times, Abu Marzouk revealed his regret over the deadly surprise assault that resulted in the murder of 1,200 innocent Israelis, as well as the extreme toll it has taken on the people of Gaza.

Abu Marzouk’s statement, "If I had known that what happened would happen, there wouldn't have been October 7," highlights a deep and painful realization within the terrorist group. Since that fateful day, Hamas has faced retaliatory strikes from Israel that have left the Gaza Strip in ruins, with tens of thousands of casualties among Palestinians, most of whom were innocent civilians.

The admission from such a high-ranking Hamas official is a rare moment of introspection within a terror organization that has continually used horrific violence and terror to achieve its goals. The October 7th attack, which was nothing short of a massacre, has only intensified the cycle of violence in the region, and Abu Marzouk’s regret serves as a powerful reminder of the profound human cost of terrorism.

It is clear that while Hamas may attempt to justify its actions, the consequences of this brutal attack have been catastrophic, not only for the victims in Israel but for the people in Gaza as well. Hamas’s continued embrace of terror has ensured that the region remains entrenched in violence, with no end in sight. The world must reject any form of terrorism and demand accountability for those who perpetuate it, especially when it brings nothing but suffering to all involved.
