Rima Hassan, a member of the European Parliament of Palestinian origin, who is known for her anti-Israel positions, her calls for a boycott of Israel and her support for hostile organizations, landed a few minutes ago at Ben Gurion Airport along with other members of parliament.

Helen Mazuz, deputy mayor of Ra'anana and who has been working for the rights of immigrants from France for years, reacted sharply:

"Giving a platform to a person who encourages terrorism is an affront to the memory of the victims of terrorism and to the state's efforts to maintain the security of its citizens. It is unacceptable to allow such a person to enter Israel and spread his dangerous doctrine. The State of Israel is a Jewish and democratic state, but bringing in people with extremist positions that incite against our soldiers and the state is crossing a red line. We must not legitimize those who act against us from within and without."

Rima Hassan, a member of parliament for the far-left French party LFI, is known for her harsh statements against Israel and is considered anti-Semitic.

Over the years, she has called for sanctions against Israel, spread lies about the IDF, and expressed indirect support for terrorist organizations. Hassan was even interrogated in the past for incitement to terrorism, following an interview in which she said that Hamas's activity was legitimate, which raises the question of how she was allowed to enter Israel.

Mazuz called on the state authorities to re-examine the entry policy of elements with a record of anti-Israel incitement:

"The State of Israel must stand firm in the face of incitement and delegitimization led by anti-Israeli elements under the guise of parliamentary activity. We have to make sure that those who come here respect the country, its laws and its soldiers."
