Emirati journalist slams Nasrallah’s funeral: “You will never find Germans mourning Hitler”
Amjad Taha condemns Lebanon's mourning of the Hezbollah leader, drawing shocking comparisons to Hitler and questioning the nation’s moral compass.

The spectacle of the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah, the ex-leader of Hezbollah, caused a deep shock among the Emirati journalist Amjad Taha. In a scathing column, Taha compared Nasrallah to Hitler and harshly criticized the Lebanese crowds that attended the funeral.
"You will never find Germans mourning Hitler," Taha wrote, "but in Lebanon, masses are shamelessly mourning Nasrallah, the blood-soaked leader of Hezbollah. It's outrageous."
Taha, who is known for his public support for Israel, mentioned that Nasrallah is responsible not only for the killing of Jews, but also for the massacre of the people of Iraq and Syria. "This monster has slaughtered babies in Iraq, Israel, and Syria, while drowning the world in drugs," Taha wrote.
He was highly critical of the Lebanese government, which he said had "rolled out the red carpet for Iran's terror machine, gathered its proxies to respect this filth."
"It's not just shameful; It is an ongoing disease," Taha wrote, "Lebanon has been dragged into darkness for a thousand years. A nation that suffers the intolerable is doomed to rot in its hatred."
Nasrallah's mass funeral, which was attended by an estimated 1 million people on Sunday, was accompanied by celebrations. However, Israeli Air Force fighter jets were recorded circling over Nasrallah's funeral in Beirut, in what appeared to be a clear Israeli message to Hezbollah and its senior officials.
Defense Minister Yisrael Katz commented on the presence of the planes, saying, "The Israeli Air Force planes that are now circling the skies over Beirut over the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah convey a clear message: Whoever threatens to destroy Israel and attacks Israel will have an end. You will specialize in funerals – and we will win."
