In a heartfelt message shared by his family, they expressed their deep gratitude to the people of Israel for their overwhelming support over the past week. They also extended their thanks to the security forces for their tireless efforts and sent a loving hug to the families of the fallen victims, whose loved ones have recently been returned.

On this emotionally charged day, the Horn family emphasized their solidarity with the bereaved families. Their message conveyed a deep commitment to the continued fight for the safe return of all hostages. "We swear that we will fight until the last captive is freed," the family declared, showing their unwavering determination to see this crisis through to the end.

The Horn family also extended special thanks to the Hostages' Families Headquarters for their invaluable support and advocacy during this incredibly difficult time. They also expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedicated medical team at Ichilov who provided exceptional care to Yair with compassion and sensitivity, aiding in his recovery.

Though Yair has made significant strides in his recovery, the family acknowledges that their rehabilitation journey remains long and difficult. The Horn family’s commitment to the cause is clear, with Yair promising to actively join the efforts for the return of the remaining hostages, including his brother Eitan, once he is able.

Yair, 46, was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, along with his brother Eitan, his father, Itzik Horn, was unaware that Eitan had traveled there to visit Yair. The family, originally from Israel, had relocated to Argentina when Yair was just two years old, returning to settle in Kibbutz Netiv HaLamed-Heh in 1999. The family is now focused on both their personal healing and the continued battle to bring all hostages home.

In closing, the Horn family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of recovery, urging both the media and the public to allow them the space and quiet needed for their healing process.
