IDF: Oded Lifshitz was murdered by Palestinian Islamic Jihad

The Prime Minister's Office announced today (Thursday) that following a forensic investigation of slain hostage Oded Lifshitz, the IDF informed his family that he was murdered by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group.

After completing the identification process by the National Center for Forensic Medicine and Israel Police, IDF representatives recently informed the Lipschitz family that their loved one, Oded Lifschitz of blessed memory, was murdered in captivity by the terrorist organization PIJ (Palestinian Islamic Jihad) and was returned for burial in Israel.

Oded Lifschitz of blessed memory was 83 years old at the time of his death.
