Not a single Gazan saved a single hostage

Following the release of the bodies of four Israeli hostages, including Oded Lipshitz and three members of the Bibas family—children Ariel and Kfir and their mother Shiri—Erdan took to X to express his anger and frustration. In a powerful post, he drew a stark comparison between Hamas and Nazi Germany, stating, "Even in Nazi Germany, there were Germans who saved Jews. Not a single Gazan saved a single hostage."

Erdan's statement aimed to highlight the active participation of Gazan civilians in the atrocities committed by Hamas, including the kidnapping and murder of Israeli citizens. He pointed out that many Gazans were complicit, taking part in the brutal actions that resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians. The ambassador also condemned the public celebrations of violence, such as the scenes witnessed on October 7, when Gazan citizens openly celebrated the return of Jewish babies in coffins.

In his post, Erdan called for a full eradication of Hamas, stating that Gaza must be "denazified and demilitarized." He echoed sentiments from U.S. President Donald Trump's vision, emphasizing that the world must take decisive action against Hamas and its collaborators. Erdan’s passionate plea made it clear that Israel cannot coexist with Hamas, given the ongoing violence and extremism it represents.

Erdan's role as a voice for Israel has extended beyond social media. At an emergency Security Council meeting, he famously wore a Holocaust-era yellow Star of David to symbolize pride and resilience. His team followed suit, wearing the symbol as a reminder to the world of the horrors that Jews have faced and continue to face at the hands of genocidal forces like Hamas.

The recent propaganda event staged by Hamas, where hundreds of Gazans celebrated the return of the hostages' bodies, only further fueled global outrage. Erdan’s condemnation of Hamas’s actions, as well as the involvement of Gazan civilians in these acts, continues to shine a light on the ongoing threat posed by this terror group and the need for global action to protect innocent lives.

In his advocacy, Erdan has become a steadfast voice for Israel’s right to defend itself against terrorism, calling for a global united front in denouncing Hamas and its collaborators. His leadership underscores Israel's unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and security of its citizens, even in the face of relentless hostility.
