Report: Hostage release timetable revealed -  Israel braces for emotional days ahead 

Four bodies set for return Thursday, with live hostages expected to be freed in the coming days - here’s the full schedule of releases.

Following Kan 11's military correspondent Itai Blumenthal's report that Israel is preparing to receive four bodies of the hostages as early as this coming Thursday, Noam Amir, from Channel 14 now reports on the timetable for the release of hostages, both alive and dead in the upcoming days.

This new timetable, as of tonight (Monday) for the release of the hostages is as follows:

On the 33rd day, Thursday, February 20: 4 bodies of hostages.

On the 35th day Saturday, February 22nd: 3 hostages released alive.

On the 40th day, Thursday, February 27: 4 bodies of hostages.

Between the 35th and 42nd days: Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed will be released, and another hostage will be released alive.

Avraham (Avera) Mengistu crossed into Gaza in 2014 and has been held by Hamas since. Hisham Sha'aban Al-Sayed is an Israeli citizen who crossed into Gaza in April 2015. He also had a history of mental illness and has been held by Hamas since then.

As part of the final phases of the first stage, 14 additional hostages are expected to be released, including six who are still alive: Omer Wenkert, Elia Cohen, Tal Shoham, Omer Shem Tov, Avera Mengistu, Hisham Shaaban al-Sayed, Itzik Elgart, Shlomo Mansour, Ohad Yahalomi, Oded Lifshitz, Tzachi Idan, and Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir Bibas.
