BREAKING: Attempted vehicle ramming attack at IDF Base in Samaria thwarted

A terrorist attempt to ram Israeli soldiers was foiled Thursday morning at the entrance to the Samaria Regional Brigade military base in Samaria. The assailant was neutralized by security forces at the scene, with no injuries reported among Israeli personnel.

According to initial military reports, the incident occurred at approximately 10:00 AM when the suspect crashed a stolen vehicle into a security gate and then attempted to exit the vehicle, according to defense correspondent Doron Kadosh. Soldiers shot and neutralized him.

The attempted attack took place at a key IDF installation that serves as the headquarters for military operations in the Samaria region. The Samaria Regional Brigade base is one of several strategic military positions that coordinate security operations throughout northern Samaria.

This incident follows a pattern of attempted vehicular attacks against Israeli military and civilian targets in Judea and Samaria. Security forces maintain heightened alert at military installations and checkpoints throughout the region to prevent such attacks.
