Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei published a post on X today (Wednesday) in Hebrew, celebrating "the uprising in Gaza" as having defeated not only Israel, but also the United States.

In his post, Khamenei said that "the uprising in Gaza defeated not only the Zionist entity," Iran's official term for Israel, "but effectively defeated the United States."

Khamenei added a video to his post, which includes multiple clips from the October 7 attack and massacre: the diversionary rocket attack, the breaching of the border fence, the capturing of soldiers, and graphic footage showing Hamas terrorists killing one of the defenders of the many places they attacked.

The video then shows the parades of Hamas fighters following this offensive, including a scene showing a woman showering the fighters with flowers and a masked Hamas terrorist appearing dominant stamping an official document.

The video then goes onto show a row of seated Hamas terrorists and their meeting with Khamenei, where they embrace and congratulate each other, and where they thank God for the victory they have achieved together, in Hebrew subtitles.

The video ends with a black screen with the white title "Gaza won" in Hebrew.

Iran has tried a number of times to spread propaganda in Hebrew to demoralize the Israeli public, often resulting in amusing incidents due to the broken Hebrew and spelling of the Iranian propagandists. Khamenei's Hebrew language account is the latest in efforts such as these.

More serious is the effort by Iran to recruit spies and saboteurs from among the Israeli population with promises of financial rewards. The Shin Bet has caught an increasing number of Israeli citizens, often disaffected ones or ones in need of money, conducting reconnaissance and vandalism missions for Iran.

The Shin Bet has repeatedly warned citizens to be on the alert for such foreign influence efforts.
