So Far, Few Other Responses
Trump is right! Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir endorse ultimatum
The hawkish party leaders responded to Trump's demand that the hostages be released at once this weekend with open support.

Hawkish party leaders Bezalel Smotrich and Itamar Ben Gvir responded with open support today (Tuesday) to President Donald Trump's ultimatum that if all the hostages were not released this Saturday, "all hell" would break loose.
Smotrich posted on his X account: "Everyone, now!" in support of the idea that all the hostages should be released at once rather than in small numbers at a time, echoing Trump's sentiments.
Itamar Ben Gvir, meantime, focused on the need to destroy Hamas, saying that "Trump is right! Go back and destroy now."
Hawkish minister Amichai Chikli, who had previously threatened to resign from the government if the IDF left the Philadelphi axis or if Israel proceeded to the second stage of the hostage deal and agreed to end the war posted this statement on his X feed:
"Finally, the voice of logic. Hamas will not run the show, will not make a circus from our people and will not spread out the deal over a year and a half in which it will rebuild its force and receive ongoing supplies. Everyone now. That's how it's done!"
As of this writing, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar have not responded to Trump's statement.
The government is set to convene at 11 AM to discuss Israel's options regarding the ceasefire following Hamas' decision to suspend hostage releases, and the President's new ultimatum will undoubtedly also be a topic of discussion.
Last night, the President publicly said following Hamas' suspension of hostage releases that all the hostages should be released at once this Saturday, and that if not, "all hell" would break loose and the ceasefire ended. While the President left it up to Prime Minister Netanyahu to decide on whether this is the right deadline, he was clearly expressing his impatience with the slow progress with the deal.
