Moving moments were recounted yesterday (Saturday) with the return of three hostages from Hamas captivity, among them Ohad Ben Ami. His daughter, Ella, shared her struggle to bring him back all along and now she is documenting every moment after his return and does not hide her great excitement from Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.

70 weeks after he was kidnapped, Ohad was able to meet his three daughters again. These moments were documented by Ella, who shared the first hours together last night in the special room prepared for him in the hospital. "A night in the hospital for the best reasons," she wrote excitedly, "Dad comes back to us, smiled his smile, laughed at us and hugged us for a long time. Hearing his voice again is an excitement that I have no way of explaining."

But along with the great joy, Ella also shared her concerns about the fate of the 76 hostages who are still in captivity. "Along with all the happiness, the pictures of him getting out of the Hamas car will be etched in my mind forever," she wrote. "After this day, the only thing that goes through my mind is how much we have to get everyone out of there, out of that hell, and quickly."

Other exciting moments were recorded when the family sat down to eat breakfast together, for the first time in 492 days. "It wasn't a dream, my father is eating breakfast here – and I'm sitting next to him and I can't take my eyes off him. I'm afraid it will disappear if I close them for a moment," Ella shared.

Eli Sharabi, Or Levy and Ohad Ben Ami were released yesterday (Saturday) from Hamas captivity in the Gaza Strip, after 491 days in captivity. The three were first handed over to representatives of the Red Cross during a ceremony held in the Gaza Strip.

During the handover ceremony in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, which was described as "particularly cruel," the three appeared to be in a difficult physical condition – pale and noticeably thin. They needed support from Hamas members on their way to the stage, where they were forced to speak in Hebrew for a long time. The scenes from the Gaza Strip aroused great anger in Israel and around the world.
