Thank you to everyone: Released hostage Karina Ariev shows heartful gratitude on Instagram

Karina Ariev, one of the hostages freed last Saturday, posted a post full of thanks to all the people who cared for her and fought for her on Instagram.

Here is the translation:

"My name is Karina Ariev. I was held captive by Hamas for a year and three months. Today, thank God, I am home in Israel with my family and my people.

"I want to thank the heroic soldiers who fought and continue fighting day and night on all fronts to protect us, protect the country, and enable the return of all hostages. I am grateful for the sacrifice of so many lives so that I could be here today.

"Additionally, thank you to everyone who supported my family and loved ones throughout this period. Thank you for the prayers, the efforts, the actions, and the complete faith that I would return alive. This sustained support cannot be taken for granted, but you proved the unity and love, the values and morality, of the people of Israel and the Jewish people.

"My journey from now on, besides rehabilitation and returning to life, will include commemorating my fellow female soldiers, my commanders, deputy commanders, and the male and female fighters who fell in battle at the post where I served - Nahal Oz post.

"I will fight for justice and truth alongside the families. I never forget for a moment those who were murdered, pure souls who were cruelly taken from our world. I am still beginning to process how many people know me, in Israel and worldwide. I am starting to fill in the gaps and see everything that happened during my captivity.

"I thank the Creator of the world for the great miracle of my release and that of my friends. I ask - do not stop the actions, prayers, and deeds until all hostages return. I was there - we must not leave anyone behind, and I will not rest until everyone is in the land of Israel."
