On October 7, 2023, Noa was abducted from the Supernova music festival along with her boyfriend, Avinatan Or, during a brutal terrorist attack. The disturbing video that circulated globally showed Noa pleading for her life as she was forcibly dragged away on a motorcycle by the captors, a moment that would capture the world’s attention.

In her deeply moving account, Argamani revealed the terrifying thoughts that raced through her mind as she was taken from the festival grounds. Her first worry was for her mother, who was set to begin chemotherapy the very next day. Struggling with the uncertainty of her own fate, Noa’s mind raced with thoughts of her family and whether she would ever see them again.

During her captivity, Noa was initially held alongside 9-year-old Emily Hand, whose presence motivated her to stay strong. Later, she was confined with two men, Yossi Sharabi and Itay Svirsky. Tragically, both men lost their lives in an explosion, leaving Noa trapped under rubble. In a miraculous twist of fate, she survived this harrowing ordeal. For eight long months, she remained in the hands of Hamas captors before being rescued in a daring operation by Israeli forces.

Noa’s first public testimony offers an intimate and powerful glimpse into the horrors faced by hostages held in Gaza. Her account aims to raise awareness of the unimaginable conditions endured by those captured and highlights the emotional and physical toll such captivity exacts.

Now free, Noa continues to speak out about her experience, sharing her story to shed light on the broader issue of hostage-taking and the urgent need for global attention and action.
