WATCH: Footage of IDF eliminating Marwan Issa, Hamas' no. 3 man

The IDF has released new footage today (Thursday) showing the successful elimination of Marwan Issa, Hamas' deputy military chief, in March 2024.

The IDF eliminated almost all of Hamas' senior leaders throughout the war. It eliminated Yahya Sinwar, Hamas military leader and then full leader and mastermind of October 7. Following his elimination on October 16, 2024, his body was taken to Israel and is being kept at an undisclosed location.

Israel also eliminated Mohammad Deif, the Hamas military chief, on July 13, 2024, in a massive strike. Hamas did not acknowledge the death of Deif, who had survived multiple assassination attempts before, until today.

In addition, the IDF eliminated most of Hamas' military senior commanders and many of their replacements during the war, with the exception of two brigade commanders. Mohammad Sinwar, Yahya's brother, is still alive and a senior leader for Hamas in Gaza.

According to IDF estimates, anywhere between 17,000-20,000 Hamas terrorists were killed in action against the IDF, with a very large number wounded from combat, as well.
