Gadi will reunite with his family at the hospital and receive necessary medical care, while the five returning Thai civilians will be cared for by Thai government representatives at the hospital.

Arbel Yehud and her family are expected to board a flight soon to reach the hospital as well.

Coordinator of Hostage Affairs, Brigadier General (Res.) Gal Hirsch, speaks to the media:

"Today, three of our hostages have been released from Hamas captivity: Gadi Moses, Arbel Yehud, and Agam Berger. Additionally, five Thai citizens have been freed. We welcome them with open arms and heartfelt embraces. We deeply regret the long wait until their release and mourn the losses endured by their families and communities. The suffering they and their loved ones experienced during their captivity is something we cannot fully express.

These are moments of joy, but they are also filled with worry and vigilance, as our mission is not complete until all hostages are returned home. To our hostages: we are working relentlessly to secure your release. We will not rest until you are back with your families.

Operation 'Wings of Freedom' is a comprehensive plan to bring home the hostages, coordinated by all relevant agencies of the State of Israel. The details of the operation have been personally approved by the Prime Minister. The hostages have been received by the IDF and security forces, and they will be transferred to hospitals for medical treatment. The Prime Minister’s office and the Missing Persons and Hostages Directorate are overseeing their care.

The integration of the hostages and support for their families involves significant legislative efforts within the Israeli Knesset, led by the Knesset Speaker, various committees, and members of the Knesset. Each returned hostage and their family will receive a comprehensive rehabilitation and integration package, including lifelong support for the released hostages.

At the same time, the release of the terrorists is being carried out by the Israel Prison Service, Shin Bet, and Israel Police in accordance with the agreements and government directives.

To date, 10 foreign hostages—both alive and deceased—have been in the hands of Hamas and the Islamic Jihad. Today, five Thai citizens are being freed: Ban-Na-Wot Sitao, Phongsak Tino, Sorasak Romnaw, Satian Suwanakan, and Wutchara Sirayon. We will assist in their integration and rehabilitation with the same dedication and sensitivity we extend to our own citizens.

We are also currently in the final stages of preparations for the next phase of negotiations. The Prime Minister’s visit to President Trump and his meetings with the U.S. government will coincide with the start of discussions for the second phase of the deal. This is of central importance.

The return of the hostages today is, above all, thanks to the sacrifices of IDF soldiers, Shin Bet personnel, Mossad agents, security forces, and emergency rescue services. Today, our hearts are with the bereaved families, the wounded, and the fighters on every front.

Operation 'Wings of Freedom'—the release of the hostages—is the result of a large-scale national effort led by the Prime Minister. It is the result of the IDF and security forces, the entire prisoner and missing persons network, and numerous government ministries working together, from the negotiation efforts to the reception of the hostages and ongoing support for their families.

Today is an emotional day, and these are emotional times, but we remain focused on the continuous work of bringing everyone home."
