President Trump to Sign an Executive Order deporting Jew haters

A key target of Trump's legislation appears to be Columbia University, which has faced scrutiny over antisemitic and anti-Israel incidents on its campus.

President Donald Trump, who returned to office this January, plans to sign an executive order Wednesday aimed at combating antisemitism on college campuses, with a particular focus on deporting non-citizen students involved in pro-Palestinian protests, according to a White House official.

The order will direct the Justice Department to "aggressively prosecute terroristic threats, arson, vandalism and violence against American Jews," according to a White House fact sheet.

"To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice: come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you," Trump stated in the fact sheet. "I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathizers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before."

This move comes as part of Trump's broader immigration enforcement push since taking office on January 20. His administration has already increased immigration arrests to approximately 1,000-1,200 per day, significantly higher than the daily average of 311 in fiscal year 2024, according to ICE data.

The executive order follows reports from House Republicans alleging that under the previous Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security had blocked efforts to investigate the visa status of protesting students.

The initiative emerges amid ongoing concerns about antisemitism on U.S. campuses following Hamas's October 7, 2023, attacks on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza. The order would also empower the Justice Department to investigate activists responsible for pro-Hamas graffiti, including on private college campuses.
